Deliverables
A report on the current status of dissemination and communication activities outlining the progress, challenges and results obtained in the first 18 months.
Analysis of sensors and identification of technical solutions. (opens in new window)In the report, the best available technologies and commercially available products will be identified. Experiments will be done to help to find the optimal solutions, which could be achieved by the usage of a single type of technology or a combination of various technologies.
Report on defect detection and classification algorithm for PBF-LB. (opens in new window)A report detailing the defect detection approach for PBF-LB.
Methodology to measure the environmental impact described. (opens in new window)A description of the methods used and their application in the project in order to carry out both LCA and LCC analyses in the DILAPRO project.
Report on validated intelligent control system. (opens in new window)The report will describe the performance of a system to be evaluated based on the quality of the AM parts produced, and the ability of the system to identify and correct defects in real time.
Community Building Strategy. (opens in new window)The plan will include a description of:·mobilization of networks and associations. ·participation in external events and fairs.·knowledge transfer to the participants, ensuring skills development of the EU workforce while preparing them for the potential implementation and use of digital manufacturing technologies.·clustering and plan for co-organization of events with fellow EU projects and initiatives. Dedicated engagement actions and knowledge transfer activities to address networks; results and open data will be delivered to key European platforms. Furthermore, the generation of a project dedicated website will be described.
Commonly distributed & agreed audit procedure (opens in new window)"Develop an audit template for the demonstrator location audit with focus on “substitution” potentials of “digital quality control tools"" and methods ""data areas”."
Description of relevant and current software workflows for the respective use cases. (opens in new window)Mapping of the software architecture requirements as well as draft and create the architecture itself for the later implementation of DILAFACT.
Report on multi-purpose laser processing and production strategy-decision tool. (opens in new window)A description of a decision tool to help achieve the best utilization of the laser technologies compared to processing steps and costs (environmental and monetary).
Report on defect detection and classification algorithm for DED-LB. (opens in new window)A report detailing the defect detection approach for DED-LB.
Community Building Report. (opens in new window)A report detailing the progress towards building the LASER community including status, results, challenges and next steps.
Process strategy optimization framework description. (opens in new window)A detailed description of the work combining multiphysics models with data-based material models to create response models for process optimization and implementing them in production.
Validation and documentation. (opens in new window)Defining the initial DILACERT status quo assessment procedure based on ISO/ASTM AM standards TC 261 and all other AM relevant standards and standards related to digital monitoring.
Report on reduced order models for implementation in DILAFACT. (opens in new window)A detailed report on the obtained reduced order models for implementation in DILAFACT.
DEC Plan: Plan for Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication. (opens in new window)The plan will build on activities outlined in section 2.2 of the project proposal Part B, including defining key messages and dissemination and communication actions as well as target audiences. It will also identify the KERs and the target stakeholders, as well as any IPR considerations.
Manual guides for the methodologies of physically simulating the AM process and laser-surface interaction. (opens in new window)Manual guides for reliable physical simulation of additive manufacturing process and laser-surface interaction will be created.
Report on defect detection and classification algorithm for laser surface modification. (opens in new window)A report detailing the defect detection approach for laser surface modification.
Certification analyses. (opens in new window)Mapping of the needs for digital certification based on the use case definition of Task 1.1. To use the use cases as demonstrators of a digital certification approach this report will define the requirements for approaching a certification task for each use case defined in Task 1.1.
A data management plan (DMP) will describe the details of handling the data generated during the project. It will be done in the best possible way to maximise the impact and will be inspired by the FAIR principles.
A databank (process parameters, microstructure, property) will be generated for each studied material, and their relationship will be analysed. These high-quality data will serve as input parameters for the Digital Twins.
