Livrables
Visual Identity and Communication Materials: Logos, Templates, Brochures, Posters, Fact Sheets. It will detail a description of the project or organizational logo, including its design elements), and guidelines for usage (e.g., size, placement, color options).
Initial Exploitation Strategy Roadmap (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The deliverable aims to consolidate findings for commercial exploitation and market uptake, identify promising outcomes, develop an exploitation strategy for innovative technologies (KERs), and address impact, innovation management, and IPR concerns. It includes industrial scale-up planning, preliminary business models and plans, and economic intelligence for monitoring result replication. Referred to Task 6.2.
Selection of the corrosion-resistant materials. (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)After a thermogravimetric study and structural characterisation techniques, the best salt/material pair is selected. This will be done by discussing the results of the examinations with the partners from Task 3 and by pre-defining a maximum corrosion rate, which is considered to be a limit for this type of application. The most promising candidates, respectively salt/material pairs showing the lowest corrosion attack, will be selected as successful for next steps in the project.
1 Setup design for experiments and monitoring system (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The optimised setup for the use of carbonates and chlorides with inert gas is described, along with the analysis of output system. This document will describe the experimental setup, including the equipment and materials used. Outline to be tested, such as different concentrations of carbonates and chlorides, types of inert gas, etc. It involves computational thermodynamic simulations.
Coupons of newly developed alloys ready for coating application and testing (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The results on mechanical test as well as metallographic examinations of different newly developed alloys, which will be melted on a laboratory scale, will be analyzed with project partners from Task 3.1. The most promising candidates, that appear to be successful based on the aforementioned experimental results, will be selected for further coating applications and tests in molten salts at higher temperatures. Coupons of these materials will be delivered to the corresponding partners.
The coatings selected should resist long-term temperatures of 800ºC and peak temperatures of 850ºC. Samples of all the selected coatings and alloys will be produced for the entire laboratory testing protocol designed during WP1. These will include a first stage of samples for the screening test and then for the long test once the best performing coatings and materials have been selected.
