Initial demonstration plan for KZD

This deliverable refers to Task(s) 1.3 and 1.4Led by ZOREN, integrating the activities on KPIs, integration issues and safety plans, we will derive and agree the demonstration plan and develop the P&ID for the development, installation and running of the ZOREN KZ demonstrator, the main components of which are expected to comprise the TES, CTES system, absorption chiller, HXs, cloud based EMS, STORM controller.

Communication and dissemination plan

This deliverable refers to Task(s) 6.2TVS will develop a communication and dissemination plan within Task 6.2 which is aimed at all stakeholders identified by the project.We will formalize the current communication policy and plan to ensure that the relevant, accurate, and consistent information has reached the stakeholders (sec2.2) and other appropriate audiences of the nGEL project. The communication policy will provide a framework to manage and coordinate the wide variety of communications that take place during the project. The communication policy and plan will cover a) Who will receive the communications; b) How the communications will be delivered; c) What information will be communicated; d) Who communicates, and e) The frequency of the communications.

Definition and success criteria for flexible geothermal ORC

This deliverable refers to Task(s) 1.1 and 1.2While collaborating with the grid operator, the KPIs as defined in section 1.1 for the ancillary services will be reviewed.ZOREN will define time span and frequency of demonstration to minimize the interruption of the energy supply to the grid.With support of VITO, NALDEO, FRAUNHOFER and TVS, ZOREN will define the specification of the thermal energy storage (TES), absorption chiller and heat exchanger (HX) for the demonstration case 1. ZOREN will also define the specification for full scale implementation of nGEL concept at ZOREN site. TVS, with the support from ZOREN and REPG will define the specification of the recuperator and HX and cold thermal energy storage (CTES) for the demonstration case 2.ZOREN will lead the task to do a documented risk analysis and safety case, confirming the safe condition is within the proposed operating envelope of materials behaviour in the anticipated pressure, temperature and environment regimes.

Data Management Plan

This deliverable refers to Task(s) 7.3within Task 7.3, nGEL Data Management Plan (DMP) will be developed which will enable robust data protection and management procedures to protect data collected and resulting from project activities affecting confidential or sensitive information. Scientific data for training and other relevant information will be compiled to be reused and exploited by the community of researchers, entrepreneurs, technological SMEs, end-users, etc. The DMP will follow the Horizon Europe and open research data guidelines and will provide an analysis of the main elements of the data management policy for all the datasets that will be collected and generated by the nGEL project. It covers data ethics and GDPR management for nGEL. Moreover, all activities in the project will be continuously examined from the viewpoint of ethical issues.
