Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

"We will prepare a DataManagement Plan (DMP) at the beginning of the projects that adheres to the principle of ""as open as possible, as closed as necessary""; the document will be updated during the project according to the data life cycle. Types of data: Data will be either in the format of numerical values, or as images representing cell process. The expected type of stored data would be procedures, raw data obtained from the experiments and documents associated with the project (including presented work and manuscripts).Findability: I will embrace a traditional practice of maintaining a laboratory journal, as well as store the data in the university server and storage platforms (MS OneDrive and Teams). For external storage, data repository that provides a DOI upon deposition will be selected - discipline-specific or communityrecognized. Accessibility: We will make data open, as early as possible. For IP sensitive data, it will be made available after filing of relevant patent. Data underlying publications (mentioned or used in scientific publications) will be shared upon paper publication. Interoperability: The Dublin core standard will be considered as a guideline. Reusability: Open access dataset and software: we will opt for CC BY and CC0 licenses. Datasets will be stored with metadata, e.g. experimental setups, details of the originating machine and samples, analysis, normalization, quality assurance methods, software (versions, parameters)."
