Organization of NetCastPL4.0 schools S&T mechanics, metallurgy & green processing in the production of light-weight castings: Covering fundamentals, processes and production techniques exploitation, valorisation and industrial use of castings.

The website will provide a common platform to facilitate information exchange among beneficiaries and will be one of the main dissemination and interaction vehicles. The web portal will have: a) public, b) private (password controlled), c) social networks; d) e-newsletters; e) e-library; f) data collection sections.

Organization of a Workshop on Green Processes in Foundry 4.0 practice of Light-Weight Castings (at AGH) - 1 day dedicated to technical aspects + 1day dedicated to policy and business development in the field.

Analysis report for Foundry needs and major players by application (opens in new window)

An analysis report for Foundry needs and major players by application will be prepared with cooperation with Polish Foundrymen’s Association in Poland and Foundry Chamber of Commerce in Poland. Statistical data on the production volume of light-weighting castings in Poland and data on the use of such castings in the automotive, aviation, energy industries, etc. will be compiled.

Roadmap on Green technologies for lightweight castings (opens in new window)

A Roadmap on Green technologies for lightweight castings including new materials for castings and green materials for molds will be elaborated.A roadmap will be prepared on the basis of reports on:-on possible moulding materials used in the production of advanced lightweighting castings from cast iron and Al alloys,-new materials for advanced lightweighting castings investigations.
