Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The overarching aim of the 6SAVA coordination and support action is enhancing knowledge transfer, technology uptake and innovative collaborations within three countries from the Sava River basin: Serbia, Croatia and Bosna and Herzegovina. Central to our endeavour is the valorisation of our H2020 RIA SIXTHSENSE assets, showcasing strong technological relevance and significant exploitation potential.

The project builds strong partnerships by connecting industry and public sector stakeholders, especially in civil protection, and collaborating closely with local authorities to align its innovative SIXTHSENSE technology with regional needs and funding opportunities.

Our approach aims to tailor results to specific stakeholder requirements, while enhancing the capacity for intellectual asset management and the uptake of cutting-edge technologies for both consortium members and interested project stakeholders. The regional ecosystem innovation capacity is further addressed by actively engaging stakeholders through dynamic training, joint preparation of innovative project proposals, and a dedicated EU funding awareness campaign. By disseminating key outcomes via webinars, live events, and strategic guidelines, the project aims to boost stakeholder engagement and fosters an environment receptive to innovation and innovation based regional growth.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

The first period of the project was dedicated to establishing the project’s main frameworks (D1.1 D1.2 D5.2) and online presence (D5.1) preparing initial technology demonstrators (D2.1) showcasing our technology to a broad network of engaged stakeholders, harmonizing regional R&I funding initiatives (D4.1) with national start specialization priorities (D3.1) and capacity building in the domains of IP management and technology uptake through both internal and external knowledge transfer (D5.3). The pilot version of 6SAVA regional technology uptake platform was launched at the end of this period (D2.2) spotlighting services and technologies intrinsic to SIXTHSENSE, tailored to meet the precise needs of end-users.
