Project description
Solutions in charting the diverse trajectories of researchers’ careers
Navigating a career in research is not easy. With myriad pathways and uncertainties, researchers often find themselves at a crossroads, unsure of the next steps. This complexity can lead to feelings of isolation and hinder professional development. With the support of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, the MSCA2024BE project aims to address these issues by convening a conference focused on researchers’ career trajectories. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration and provide tangible solutions for researchers navigating their career journeys. By bringing together 150 participants, the project endeavours to create a supportive environment where scholars can share experiences, exchange ideas, and forge connections that will shape the future of research careers in Europe.
Objective
"In the frame of the Belgian UE Presidency (first semester 2024), the MSCA2024BE conference aims to physically bring together 150 participants on the theme ""researchers' careers: multiple patways"".
To achieve this, a programme has been designed by four research administrations in Belgium, with the support of the European Commission.
The conference will take place in Mons on 18 and 19 April 2024."
