- The Look Up’s network of 7 globally distributed radars, within EU sovereign territories, with a proprietary design for global surveillance and tracking.
- The optimised fusion of data coming from its own network and any kind of external sources powered by Look Up secure, hybrid and dual use digital platform.
- The interoperability with all stakeholders for an efficient operational coordination
The project main objective it to propose an innovative service giving access to safer space operations to the entire space community. The development of such a service requires
- to design processes and tools for automated data exchanges and processing with all the stakeholders, aiming at a high level of interoperability
- to develop algorithms and tools for customized and facilitated collision risk management, from the monitoring of the risk to the satellite manoeuvre execution
- to implement secure processes to directly execute and monitor manoeuvres on behalf of satellites operators/owners
- to test and demonstrate the service to various stakeholders all along the project development to ensure the perfect fit between the service value proposition and the market needs.
With this vertical integration, Look Up aims at giving simplified access to safe space operations to all satellites owner, increasing satellite lifetime and mission availability.

Thanks to our investment, they will continue deploying its global radar network." The deployment of the three first SORASYS RADAR is also funded by EU SST.
After one year of development, the first version of the ATLAS² service is functional, as a proof of concept of the full service, proposing avoidance manoeuvre recommendations. An enhanced manoeuvre optimization algorithms, integrating a first set of operational constraints is implemented, proposing adapted risk mitigation strategies for satellites équipped with chemical propulsion system as well as low-thrust propulsion system. The availability of ground stations link to execute the strategy is also taken into account.
The solution of developping a mobile phone application has been chosen as an innovative way to widely broadcast information about high interest conjunctions. The developped application offers an optimal user experience and is a scalable solution which can be enhanced to support a wide range of services. The application is also an
efficient way to promote LUS’ capacities, and an attractive add-on for the custormers already using the Look Up web application Synpase.
In the development of the project, several key partnerships are engaged, making sense from a technical point of view as well as from business development perspectives. Advanced discussions are on-going with suppliers of software solutions for space application, ground stations providers, space systems manufacturers and satellite operators interested for being early adopters of the service. The first round of demonstrations for the service allowed to gather very interesting and relevant feedbacks, already being integrated to improve the service.
