Open Report: Social Innovation

T4.4 will investigate the existing barriers and opportunities for bioeconomy innovations to generate social change and impact. This will be done via literature review and a minimum of three interviews with key stakeholders. The findings will be summarised in a public report D4.4, which serves as the basis for developing adequate capacity-building activities in T5.2, co-creation of the social vertical. Having a clear view of the existing barriers, will allow to develop capacity building activities in such a way that they support the integration of social innovation. This knowledge will also be used to evaluate the applications in T6.2 Assessment and selection of projects based on scaling readiness levels: TRL, BRL, RRL and SRL. Finally, this will serve as input to develop social engagement and innovation webinars in T7.1 (Bioeconomy nurturing webinars). (corresponding to T4.4).

Open Report: Regional analysis of bioeconomy potential (including policy brief)

"Deliverable D4.5 will present the results of Task T4.5, which involves a thorough assessment of bioeconomy potential in EU regions classified as ""less developed"" or ""transition"" regions at the NUTS2 level. The report will provide detailed regional analyses for each of the regions represented by project partners, examining the current state of their linear-based economies, identifying limitations, and exploring factors that can drive their transition to bioeconomy. Key outputs will include a SWOT analysis for each region, a mapping of ongoing bioeconomy projects, and a policy brief summarizing strategic recommendations for fostering bioeconomic growth. The deliverable aims to inform policymakers and stakeholders about the potential and strategic steps necessary for bioeconomy development in these regions (corresponding to T4.5)."
