Streamlining Geo mapping and Early Monitoring with an All-in-One Data Collection System for power line and mining industries

Objective

Power line and mining industries face challenges related to vegetation encroachment
and infrastructure monitoring. The inefficient monitoring of vegetation growth near power lines increases the risk of wildfires, while inadequate monitoring of mining infrastructure can lead to safety hazards and operational inefficiencies. The current solutions are often inefficient due to their high operational costs, time-consumption and low-quality output, since most of them are custom built for the specific application of end user.
Therefore, by combining advanced sensor fusion technology and real-time monitoring AISPECO innovation IMC Aerie, offers a comprehensive and cost-efficient solution. The system's controller allows integration of various sensors, creating a live Digital Twin enabling efficient vegetation management and infrastructure integrity eliminating wildfire and slopes sliding risks offering safety improved operational efficiency. It follows principles of digitalization and implements Industry 5.0 standards, European Green Deal- reducing GHG & black carbon emissions, and contributes to SDGs.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Keywords

Project’s keywords as indicated by the project coordinator. Not to be confused with the EuroSciVoc taxonomy (Fields of science)

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
