During the first year of the project all WP have been started.
In July 2025, the landscape analysis was delivered after analysing data from more than 60 respondents. These findings have been a strong basis for the work developed in different WP. All partners contributed to ensure high participation in the survey and to the final deliverable.
The work on the policy guidelines has started. All partners have contributed to building the structure of the policy guidelines for Academic Leadership, Public Administration and Platform Associations. This work is ongoing. The core WP during this reporting period was WP2: Development of content and tools for knowledge valorisation (IA) & standardization. WP2 started with a comprehensive analysis of existing practices, training materials, and capacity gaps in the fields of knowledge valorisation and standardization (D2.1). This analysis provided the evidence base for the design of all subsequent WP2 activities. Building on these findings WP2 focused on the development of a comprehensive and modular capacity-building framework addressing intellectual asset management, knowledge valorisation, and the integration of standardisation practices. A structured Training Suite was developed, combining conceptual learning modules with practical tools, including self-assessment instruments, implementation guides, and application-oriented resources. In parallel, the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) was designed and developed as a scalable digital learning environment, translating the Training Suite content into an accessible and practice-oriented format. In addition, new & improved service formats for knowledge valorisation and standardisation, as well as the Train-the-Trainer programme, were conceptually developed to support the uptake and long-term sustainability of project results. All WP2 deliverables were completed within the reporting period. The official launch event on 5 February 2026 marked the transition from content development to implementation under WP3.
As far as WP3 is concerned (Delivery of capacity building on knowledge valorisation and standardisation), the training platform has been designed, developed and was published in M10 on the IAM4RE website. The MOOC platform has been designed, customised and is operational. The MOOC content and structure have been completed in line with WP2 outputs. The final integration of content and interactive elements, as well as the upload of materials to the platform, is currently being finalised in alignment with the start of WP3 activities (month 13). The platforms have been integrated with a single sign-on for users. The Train-the-Trainer programme starts at Month 13 and the identification of the target organizations to involve has started.
WP4 officially started in Month 12 with the launch of the open call for Public Research Organisations and Academic Institutions to apply for the mentoring service. To support timely implementation, preparatory work began slightly in advance, focusing on the development of the methodology and selection criteria for the PROs to be involved in service implementation.
WP5 has focussed on delivering communications, dissemination and engagement activities in this first reporting period. This includes the design of a plan and strategy identifying stakeholders and targeted messaging, channels to use and a set of five campaigns to target them. With the training platform published in this RP, the main focus has been on this and also raising awareness of needs and best practices in IAM. The main channels have been established with the main focus being building the project website as the central hub of all WP5 activities. Online and physical events have been delivered to support campaigns and a growing community of followers on social media created.
As far as WP6 Management is concerned, the project is proceeding according to the timeline and there are no issues to be reported. At Month 1 the kick-off meeting regularly took place, and in the course of this first year 6 management meetings have been organized. Besides the official management meetings, several meetings involving specific partners have been scheduled when the activities requested them. The Grant agreement has been prepared and signed, and the advance payment has been transferred to all project partners. The Consortium agreement was also developed and signed by all partners. The Project Management Plan and the Data Management Plan were developed, respectively at Month 3 and Month 6. The coordination of activities and cooperation between partners was ensured, as well as the organization of the reporting at Month 12.
