Supporting the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on Energy and Resource Efficiency in Buildings

Objective

The EU-funded SET-IWG5 project will deliver scientific, administrative, managerial, and communication support to the Implementation Working Group on Energy and Efficiency of in Buildings (IWG5). By strengthening the group’s visibility and effectiveness, the project will provide strategic and methodological guidance, facilitate stakeholder engagement and further develop the Implementation Plan to ensure consistency alignment with the SET Plan objectives and effective execution.

The project’s core objective is to guarantee the long-term sustainability and efficient operation of IWG5, as a collaborative platform bringing together representatives from EU and associated countries, industry, research organisations, and civil society. Through targeted actions, the project will foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and coordinated efforts towards accelerating the deployment of energy-efficient solutions in buildings, contributing to Europe’s climate neutrality and energy transition goals.
