Objective
The LYCORNE project proposes to raise the maturity of future Avionic Communication systems. This will build on the outcomes of the SESAR3 FCDI project and focus on HCATM and LDACS. HCATM maturity will be raised from TRL4 to TRL6, addressing ACARS, OSI and IPS environments. LDACS activities will add ACARS capabilities to LDACS and will develop digital Voice over LDACS further, which have not been addressed in previous projects and are necessary to complete a full TRL6 maturity of this technology.
