APOLLO - Architecture, Planning, mOnitoring and LifecycLe Oversight

Objective

The Architecture, Planning, mOnitoring and LifecycLe Oversight (APOLLO) project supports the SESAR 3 JU by producing and maintaining the SESAR Architecture. It provides top-down guidance, consolidates programme-level results, and ensures alignment with international standards and regulatory needs, while delivering reports to monitor solution maturity and progress on key Master Plan dimensions. In addition, APOLLO assists SESAR 3 JU with strategic deployment planning and monitoring, and remains flexible to perform ad-hoc activities such as airspace architecture studies, future Common Project proposals, and SRIA updates.

The success of the APOLLO project relies on contributions from a broad and representative set of ATM stakeholders, covering all aspects of the European ATM system. The project brings together stakeholders from airborne and ground systems, air navigation service providers, airport operators, and EUROCONTROL. The consortium includes 14 organisations from 7 EU member states and 2 from non-EU countries (the UK and Switzerland), carefully selected for their relevant skills and experience. Work is structured collaboratively across all work packages, enabling effective knowledge transfer and exchange of expertise among participants

EUROCONTROL will coordinate the project without requesting funding (100% of EUROCONTROL’s costs will be considered IKOP). However, EUROCONTROL fully engages in the project and is committed to contributing effort, deliverables and to other activities as set out in this tender and the accompanying administrative forms.
