Dynamics and Combinatorial Structures in Algorithmic Game Theory

Objective

DyCoSAGT aims to strengthen and broaden international interdisciplinary collaboration in the development of analytic tools for the Algorithmic Game Theory applications. In recent years, we are witnessing a significant trend towards using algorithmic game theory approaches and concepts like optimization of fairness, autonomous multi-agent systems, dynamics of potential games, market mechanisms, machine learning of equilibria in various sectors (sciences, humanities, business, administration). There are hints of connections of new applications with existing deep methods of mathematics, optimization, computer science and numerical simulations by machine learning.

DyCoSAGT focuses on the development of a new analytic toolkit to substantially broaden the current repertoire of the algorithmic game theorists: to reach this ambitious and relevant goal, the project will foster and expand international collaborative network of research groups, facilitating the transfer of knowledge of disciplines involved, and testing innovative approaches to the algorithm game theory. Core of DyCoSAGT is the international mobility between EU, Associated and Third Countries, open to researchers at any career stage in the field of Mathematics, Economic Sciences and Computer Science.

DyCoSAGT will explore, expand and enrich activities having as background two EU funded actions of the coordinator Charles University (CU): the H2020 MSCA RISE project CoSP (Combinatorial Structures and Processes), and the Horizon Europe WIDERA project AGATE (ERA Chair in Algorithmic Game Theory in Socio-economics).
