TRUST - Supporting and Valuing EU Regulatory Compliance with a Seal of TRUST and Co-designed Online Services based on Trustable LLM

Objective

TRUST ambitions to:
1. Increase LLM reliability for legal guidance:
TRUST will deliver an Enhanced LLM Abstraction Layer (ELAL) based on a Reinforced RAG Model (RRAG) that will combine and leverage cross-LLMs interactions to increase the reliability of LLM outputs and reduce the risk of hallucinations. It will use a dedicated European Legal Semantic Data Space (ELSDS) for regulatory compliance. It will also develop a Compliance Monitoring Agent (CMA) to prevent leaks and a formal LLM reliability metrics.
2 Support EU regulatory compliance
TRUST will leverage the ELAL to co-create with end users an Online Platform of Regulatory Compliance Services (OPRCS) able to: (1) Inform and brief them on upcoming EU regulations; (2) Identify and translate regulatory obligations into clear checklists of requirements; (3) Analyse and prioritize legal risks; (4) Prepare regulatory mandatory reports; (5) Check and assess their regulatory compliance; and (6) Facilitate third-parties auditing and compliance certification. These services will be built on top of an extensible Applications Agent Plane (AAP).
3 Value and incentivize EU regulatory compliance:
TRUST ambitions to turn regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage and source of economic value creation with an innovative omnibus regulatory compliance certification scheme (the “Seal of Trust”) to assess and certify compliance with EU regulatory compliance certification.
To achieve these objectives, TRUST gathers major stakeholders, including SME alliances, DPO associations, supervisory authorities, industry, researchers and academic experts to deliver a fully operational and user-centric platform of online services. Finally, TRUST partners will establish an online academy, a European Alliance for Regulatory Compliance Services (ARCS) and a Regulatory Compliance Services Marketplace (RCSM) to amplify and sustain TRUST impact.
