Promoting Education and Active Citizenship for Europe through Peace

Objective

"The initiative “PEACE – Promoting Education and Active Citizenship for Europe through Peace"" aims to promote the mobility of researchers, educators, and civic leaders who are dedicated to advancing intercultural dialogue, peacebuilding, human rights, and active citizenship across Europe. Our goal is to create educational initiatives that enhance understanding of the root causes and consequences of violence, discrimination, and conflict, while encouraging critical reflection and active participation in the promotion of peace and social justice. At the heart of this project is researcher mobility, enabling scholars and practitioners to engage in deep, impactful studies, participate directly in peacebuilding activities, and develop innovative pedagogical tools. This mobility will facilitate cross-border collaboration, allowing researchers to share knowledge and insights while addressing the pressing challenges Europe faces today.
Furthermore, we aim to create adaptable educational frameworks that empower local communities to address issues like conflict, inequality, and social division. Through this, we seek to reinforce the importance of solidarity, cooperation, and shared values in the pursuit of peace
