Objective
PROGNOS-AI aims to revolutionize cancer therapy selection by introducing an AI-driven platform that predicts patient response before treatment begins, using the mechanical properties of tumors as a novel prognostic biomarker. Despite major advances in oncology, up to 60 % of patients still receive ineffective therapies due to the biological and mechanical heterogeneity of tumors. Tumor stiffness—measurable non-invasively through Shear Wave Elastography (SWE)—has emerged as a powerful indicator of therapeutic outcome. Building on AnaBioSi-Data’s pre-clinical discoveries (> 1,300 tumor datasets, > 88 % accuracy), PROGNOS-AI transforms these findings into a clinically validated decision-support tool.
The project combines SWE imaging, advanced deep-learning algorithms, and explainable-AI modules to quantify tumor stiffness maps and forecast therapy response.
