Objective
UADAMAGE integrates advanced AI-based real-time video processing into a broad family of UAV platforms to enable reliable detection and future neutralisation of explosive ordnance. This capability dramatically changes the clearance of logistics routes and the demining of critical infrastructure sites, and definitely is aт irreplaceable for humanitarian demining of lands, forests, and coastlines.
Russian forces increasingly use remote mining by rockets, mechanical systems, and UAVs, rapidly contaminating large areas with anti-personnel and anti-tank mines. Analysis of the past three years shows that 97% of explosive ordnance is visually detectable, underscoring the critical need for fast, safe visual inspection across fields, infrastructure, buildings, and rubble. To address this, UA-DEMOCH developed a real-time AI detection system trained on over one million images and capable of recognizing around 200 types of explosive objects. The project aims to integrate this video-based EO detection capability into any UAV platform, enabling scalable, safe, and efficient identification of surface-visible threats.
