TERRADAPT: Attracting talents in Europe for Territorial adaptation to the digital and green transitions

Objective

The European Postdoctoral programme TERRADAPT (Attracting talents in Europe for Territorial adaptation to the digital and green transitions) is an ambitious project offering a quality research training and long-term career prospects to 7 international researchers over a 5-year project. TERRADAPT project provides a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach addressing key interdisciplinary challenges aiming to attract and retain talented postdoctoral researchers in the field of territorial digital and green transitions. The researchers will be hosted by CESI, an engineering school working in close connection with territorial ecosystems, considering the specific needs of local stakeholders including from the non-academic sector, and committed to promote atypical career paths. Fellows will pursue projects in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Social Sciences, in line with at least two of the nineteen research options offered by the programme in one of the twenty-six CESI sites. Each fellow will benefit from a permanent contract at CESI, a personalised career development plan, interdisciplinary training, international mobility, and secondments and training across academic and non-academic environments. The programme is supported by a strong network of associated partners, including four non-academic. The TERRADAPT programme is expected to train the best researchers in the focused field, while participating in European Union key strategies.
