Objective
Green Venture Bridge aims to establish a structured and interconnected European investment ecosystem that facilitates cross-border capital flow, investment readiness, and strategic knowledge exchange between developed and emerging innovation regions.
This will be achieved through the development of localized supply chains, fostering strategic investments in European-based GreenTech and ClimateTech companies, and encouraging partnerships between public and private entities to support domestic innovation and contributing to an harmonized growth of the EU Innovation Ecosystem. Critical technologies such as energy storage solutions, advanced recycling systems, green hydrogen production, and next-generation materials for sustainable manufacturing will be prioritized to enhance Europe’s self-sufficiency in climate innovation. The initiative will focus on making Europe a prime and equitable investment hub for climate-focused and socially responsible innovations.
These objectives align with the European Green Deal, which emphasizes the importance of clean technology leadership and self-sufficient energy infrastructure to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050; and New European Innovation Agenda stressing the need for more strategic investments in deep-tech startups to boost industrial competitiveness and accelerate the green and digital transitions.
Furthermore, the project is aligned with the Draghi Report on European Competitiveness, which calls for a new European investment framework capable of mobilising both public and private capital into high-impact innovation, deep-tech, and sustainability sectors — areas directly targeted by Green Venture Bridge (GVB).
Also it is fully aligned with the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025–2027, which emphasises the creation of robust investment channels that connect investors with high-potential startups, particularly in emerging regions.
