Objective
The MAEVA project will define an over all validation strategy for the pre-EATMS system for 5th Framework Programme validation projects, generating a Validation Master Plan (VMP).
It will identify ongoing and future validation projects and propose specifications for management, methodologies and trials for individual validations within these projects, focusing on en-route, en-route+TMA and gate-to-gate phases of flight. It will manage and monitor the validation activities undertaken by these projects, identify deviations and update the VMP if necessary.
Feedback will be obtained and results will be disseminating through an expert group and to the ATM community as a whole. All results will be assessed, analysed and consolidated. Recommendations will be made to the European Commission for further validation activities.
