Objective
The proposed measures adopt the objectives of the European Union set out in the white paper on the development of Renewable Energies and Energy Management and more recently in the directive for renewable electricity production passed by the Council of Ministers and by Parliament.
Our work programmes aims to:
promote Renewable Energies and Energy Management to a diverse public, encourage job- creation, economic development and diversification in these areas, bring about industrial development in emerging industrial sectors, provide sector-employees with relevant information about new technological solutions and acknowledge the frequently-expressed desire of local protagonists to become involved in the future of the territories.
In our opinion, the involvement of local protagonists is highly important for future development in this field, and their role in the field of sustainable development is vital.
