Optimisation of the energy valorisation biomass matter according to the philosophy of a natural park

Objective

The project aims to optimise the bio-methanisation of all organic matter resulting from agricultural activity (liquid manure, manure, grass, ...) to produce energy for an average unit cost of less than 0,05euro/kWh with small-capacity energy- producing systems (100 to 150kWe) . The bio-methanisation of agricultural biomass will favour the diversification of agricultural activity.

The project intends to demonstrate the efficiency and economic viability of the system by improving the management and flexibility of the "stand-alone" operating periods and the periods linked to the electric medium voltage grid (80 to 90% of power). The project intends to optimise the valorisation of calorific energy produced (more than 50%). Setting up the project in the Natural Park goes along with the Parks' philosophy (respectful development of the environment).

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.
