Intelligently designed energy efficient buildings -assessment and control by an eco-factor system

Objective

The IDEEB concept aims to overcome non-technical barriers and increase the use of renewable energy and sustainable technologies on the European scale. The concept will be tested in office buildings to show that CO2 emissions can be reduced with 25% for retrofit, and 35% for new buildings and that the BEMS system can reduce energy consumption by 7%.

The project also will improve quality of life, safety, health and working conditions with fulfilled requirements of indoor comfort. Reduce environmental impacts, specifically GHG. Reduce electricity consumption at peak loads. Secure and improve employment for the building trade specifically for control system manufactures by increased market prospects. Extension of quality assurance and environmental management schemes with the IDEEB concept.
