Objective
The high level objective of the task is to contribute to the definition of the GALILEO Local Components by an analysis of the service providers needs:
- Provide the Local Component elements of the GALILEO MRD/SRD for a generic set of applications and a Tender Dossier for the GALILEO Phase C/D.
- Provide a Local Component development plan.
- Provide a more detailed analysis of a number of Local Components, addressing the following specific aspects: The interface between the Local and Global Components of GALILEO and other communication, reporting and navigation systems.
The performance of, and the additional signals required by, the Local Component and the spectrum requirements. The commercial or public service feasibility of the Local Component opportunity taking note of the potential for revenue for the GOC. To include a cost assessment and cost implications upon the Global or Regional Components. Legal or regulatory issues that may affect the Local Component public/private exploitation.
