Objective
Up-scale and implement complete 2 stage biomass fuelled gasification CHP plant of 0,5MWel in Denmark
-Prove gasifier fuel versatility
-Demonstrate tech-economic feasibility to CHP from biomass at medium size, meeting market needs and reliability and the energy efficiency and operational performance of the LIFTOFF technology for CHP
-Optimise heat recovery from the CHP unit through the combination of steam for process use and hot water for district heating
-Realise a reference plant for the European market for the cotton and wood industry and for the exports of CHP biomass technologies
- set up a new turn key service for the production of energy from biomass in rural area
-Establish a partnership, by clustering EU projects, between the private and public sectors
-Propose a practical tool to design fixed bed gasifiers of LIFTOFF type, based on exp. and modelling.
