Regional Innovation Strategy in the Zlin Region

Objective

The aim of the project is to develop the Regional Innovation Strategy in the Zlín Region and the Action Plan which contributes to raise of competitiveness and attractivity of the Zlín region and which also contributes to enhancing the learning process for people in the Zlín Region. The important tool to achieve this aim is transfer of know-how and experience from foreign partners of the project in the field of innovation. By realization of the project better conditions for interregional cooperation in th e field of innovation should establish within the European Research Area network. The selected pilot projects from the Action plan that support innovation will be initiated during this project. Coordinator of the project is regional authority responsible for the development of the Zlín Region. The broad partnership is established in this project. There are four partners from the Zlín region in the project that play important role in the field of regional development - Tomas Bata University with research and development capacities, JVM-RPIC - Advisory and Information centre for enterpreneuers, The Regional Chamber of commerce, Regional Development Agency. Key participants in the project are foreign partners who ensure transfer of their experience and k now-how in the field of innovation. It is Technological Park of the region Castilla y León (Spain), regional authority of the region Piemonte (Italy), advisory company for innovation Pera Innovation Limited (United Kingdom) and International process cons ultant Informacion y Desarrollo (Spain).
