NEST-PROMISE (Promoting Research on Optimal Methodology Impacts Supported by Experience)

Objective

Innovative NEST-like programmes (NLPs) have sprung up, at various levels, all over Europe, ranging from Israel's mature FIRST Programme (founded 1997) to more localized and specialized programmes. All face similar challenges, and their solutions and experiences could help NEST and emerging NLPs capitalize on the successes (and avoid the pitfalls) of the past.

This SSA assembles a wide variety of complementary skills to help identify, analyse and validate Europe's collective NEST-relevant experiential wisdom and to explore the social impacts of NLPs and the NEST-concept on participants and others. Background research papers, "maps" and networks will also inform the planning and conduct of several regional workshops and a major dissemination/brokerage event to better inform NEST and NLP decision-making and to lead to further cooperative research.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.
