Objective
Organometalic compounds play more and more important role in organic synthesis. The diversity of reactions and the versatility of these compounds reached a very high level. Despite of these facts application of these compounds is often not preferred, because of high cost or missing experience in house with a specific type of organometalic element.
In the field of combinatorial synthesis the two most important factors, which have to be fulfilled is to produce a high range of compounds in a limited time to fulfil the costumer demanded deadline. That's why often high-catalyst loads are used. My goal is to bring my experience I acquired in organometalic synthesis and catalysis to help reducing unnecessary catalyst use. The practice proposed by the Environment Prote ction Agency (EPA) in their guide RCRA in the United States and The ROHS in the EU suggest to recycle as much precious metal as possible, not just because of the strategic importance of these elements, but even because the environmental consequences of the se heavy metals haven't been fully mapped.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
