Objective

Air-bags were recently introduced as a standard equipment of cars to improve dramatically the safety of passengers and drivers on accidents. It is the objective of the project to use the gas generators of the airbags for two applications to substitute for inadequate techniques and to develop innovative solutions. The application areas include explosion protection and pipeline closing. Prototypes will be installed and tested.
