AXILES Bionics: Solaris Project

Objective

Lower-limb amputees face physical and psychological pains that marketed prostheses are unable to relieve. Axiles Bionics aims to fill the clear world-wide market gap with next-generation bionic prostheses combining advanced robotics & AI, ensuring complete adaptation to amputee’s lifestyle. By virtue of its features, our technology creates a revolutionary cost-effective market concept “Prosthetics-as-a-Service” (PraaS) with our Solaris design. Our PraaS model ensures component-to-component maintenance, daily data gathering & monitoring system, predictive maintenance, and continuous upgrades. The fitness to the job-to-be-done of our solution has been already proven by in-house studies, where more than 85% of tested subjects expressed their astonishment and defined it as a must-have. Data from these studies show significant increase natural gait, less peripheral pains (knees/hips/back) and restoring of physical and mental balance, clear proof of the superior added value of our solution.
