Objective
This project aims at transferring an instrument developed for military purposes to large sectors of industry. Such an instrument allows monitoring of lubricants by measuring their ferrous debris content, its use can help to reduce machine down time and maintenance costs. This consortium intends to adopt universities as the key dissemination route. Hence a version of the instrument suitable for research and teaching laboratories will be developed. Engineers and technicians can then become familiar with the technology
