INTRINSICALLY SAFE OPTICAL HYDROGEN SENSOR BASED ON SURFACE PLASMON RESONANCE PHENOMENON

Objective

Purpose of the project is the development and marketing of an industrial hydrogen sensor based on a new sensing technique. The analyser can determine selectively Hydrogen in gas mixtures using the reflectance of the metal palladium and plasmon resonance phenomenon. The system has been tested already at VTT.
