Objective
The project aims to transfer a very specific technology developed in Spain to two other EU members, United Kingdom and France. This technology is based on the development of a multimedia system to evaluate and rehabilitate persons with cognitive or brain function problems. This multimedia system Gradior has been developed by Fundación INTRAS since 1994. Gradior is a computer based system which runs on any multimedia PC with a touchscreen. It has already shown a high performance and achievement of objectives in cognitive evaluation and rehabilitation in Spain and other Spanish speaking areas. As a consequence it has given considerable social and competitive benefits in the institutions.Due to the good results and flexibility of the system, there is a need to spread its use and benefits across Europe. This is the main objective of this project, to transfer this technology or system to France and UK.In order to make this transfer possible, a consortium has been created; Benevente Gestión SL, main user of the Gradior System in Spain will co-ordinate this project. The technology provider, Fundación INTRAS, will adapt the Multilanguage versions: British Gradior and French Gradior. This will require close relation with technology receivers in order to meet the specific requirements of these two new markets. Both technology receivers, Cref in France and University of Wales in UK, have the potential to make possible the transfer by gathering all materials and providing knowledge and requirements to the technology provider, and to disseminate and exploit the technology in their own cultural and linguistic environment.Following prototype trials this project will in 2 years achieve the use and exploitation of this technology in French and English speaking environments.
