Objective
Facing the disturbing falling number of scientific students, we have chosen to make two different worlds encounter: Researchers and Education (young people, parents, teachers and career advisers). These meetings will be regional, involving three complement ary actors (institute for training of teachers and career advisers, centres for the development of scientific culture) in three different regions (Ile-de-France, Poitou-Charentes and Wallonie). They will be sustained by videos presenting portraits of resea rchers, mostly young, some being women, showing the collective, international, fascinating and even artistic part of the job. The project will be backed by a national awareness campaign through a television broadcast of scientific success stories, which wi ll be post-tested. The meetings will be analysed by a professional of pedagogy, and a report will be produced. The result of the project will be shared through a final meeting in Paris for the partners, stakeholders interested, members of the Commission an d representatives of other European education structures;
