Objective
The project aims to set up a European virtual news magazine Primeur and a WWW information server aimed at disseminating information on HPCN activities.
The magazine will be available via the Internet. The primary reader group at which the magazine and server are aimed are strategists and managers in industry, government and policy-making institutions. The magazine will also have a general interest for the European HPCN community. Primeur will be supported by a network of consulting companies and HPCN centres across Europe. Together these will form an editorial board responsible for gathering information, writing contributions, marketing and editing the magazine. The basic implementation of the magazine will be available via email. Full Internet access will be required for the complete service. The WWW server underlying the Virtual Magazine will also provide a European WWW HPCN information site. It will contain information on European HPCN programmes and projects and will offer a forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions. It will also link to HPCN WWW servers across the EU. The information provided will consist of news items, news from centres and industry, a calendar of events and advertisements.
