The ROSA chip set is an advanced design for Telecom Transmission meeting international standards and recommendations.
The result of the DOMITIUS link work package is the development and commercialisation of a competitive chip set complying with international standards. The devices operate on the physical interface of a transmission system. The ROSA chip set has successfully been realised in a cost competitive Bipolar C-MOS process making way for global cost reductions in this field.
The benefits that can be expected are lower power dissipation, lower system cost, while still maintaining signal integrity.
