Objective
The project is intended to contribute to Pos. 8 of the STEP (Technologies for Environmental Protection) programme. Aim: development of a technology for the removal of heavy metals from compost and sewage sludge.
Research and development project concerning the elution of heavy metals from compost and sewage sludge by weak organic acids, and binding of heavy metals to the biopolymer chitosan.
