Final Activity Report Summary - MULTISCALE DAMPING (Nanoparticles-reinforced materials: novel design concepts and methods of tailoring for vibration damping)
The scope of this research project has included design and modelling of lightweight composite materials with inorganic nano/microfillers that could dramatically enhance performance of polymers at the elevated temperatures and frequencies. Particular emphasis of the work lied in validation of interfacial properties of an interfacial layer.
