Optical Tweezing and microcopy applied to studies in cell mechanics and neurobiology

Objective

This proposal comprises two projects within the field of biophotonics. The first project involves the development of a system combining an optical tweezers and a confocal microscope and its application to studies in cell mechanics. The second project involves Single and Multi Particle Tracking to study and analyse the statistics of the trafficking of synaptic molecules, their incorporation into synaptic junctions and their loss from such sites.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
