Objective
http://www.Change2IT.com(opens in new window): An innovative service for e-recruitment and skills development in the fields of eContent and ICT in Europe.
The MultiTrain project aimed to combat the shortfall of skilled personnel in the fields of eContent and ICT in Europe through the creation of an online system that enhances skills development and recruitment of eContent and ICT workforce. Within its scope, MultiTrain has led to the development of http://www.Change2IT.com(opens in new window): a new, innovative e-recruitment and career development website. Change2IT targets individuals of all backgrounds and aims to assist them in developing the right skills that are needed in the employment market as well as in finding a suitable job in ICT and eContent.
http://www.Change2IT.com(opens in new window) offers a series of services to candidates, such as IT skill assessment tests, specially developed personality tests that provide feedback on which IT roles would suit each individual best, statistics on the demand and supply of IT skills in the market, a database of e-learning providers, e-learning courses, forum, chat-rooms, and an advanced matching engine that is designed to look up and alert candidates for suitable vacancies. At the same time, http://www.Change2IT.com(opens in new window) helps employers cover their vacancies with the best possible candidates and contributes to a significant reduction in the recruitment and application management costs through its advanced matching and application handling mechanism.
http://www.Change2IT.com(opens in new window) has launched successfully in Austria, Greece, Italy and the Netherlands. The service is available in English, German, Greek, and Dutch and is currently being translated into Portuguese and soon into Italian. In the first three months of its operation, more than 1,700 candidates have used the service and more than 100 positions have been placed on the site. Successful recruitments through Change2IT have taken place.
Change2IT plans to expand throughout Europe and globally, and the project partners are looking for local representatives.
