Objective
This project aims to develop and launch a sustainable business model for a global e-learning solution, providing multilingual and multicultural training content and services to the automotive industry. The e-learning solution will be delivered through a multilingual Web portal, which aims to become the one-stop-shop for e-learning in the automotive industry in Europe. It will allow the set up of customised virtual training centres tailored to the needs of single local groups or companies.
The project intends to seize a market opportunity in Europe with a view to good growth estimates for niche players in the e-learning field, which specialise in providing sector-specific contents. The project focuses on subject areas of particular interest for automotive companies, namely quality management systems and global standards. The e-learning solution will be localised for seven national markets: UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Sweden.
Thanks to the participation of national associations of automotive companies, a large number of potential users will be involved in awareness and pilot testing activities.
