Final Activity Report Summary - COLOUR. GEOM. GRAPHS (Colouring geometric graphs)
The overall objective of the project was "to answer fundamental questions regarding geometric representations of graphs" (this is, geometric models for the mathematical structures called graphs that model connections and relationships as in networks and for data interaction). This goal has been very successfully achieved as substantiated by the numerous publications in prestigious scientific journals and presentations in competitive conferences.
In addition, the Research Fellow has collaborated very well with other mathematicians in a variety of research groups at UPC, as well as collaborating widely with researchers in Europe and North America. The Research Fellow is now established as a leading young researcher in the European Discrete Mathematics community.
