Cerebral representation of object-location memory

Final Report Summary - SPATIAL MEMORY (Cerebral representation of object-location memory)

This project aimed to examine lateralization patterns of object-location memory, focusing on two distinct process mechanisms: object processing and spatial-location processing. This was planned to be investigated in a multimodal setting consisting of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI), volumetry, and neuropsychological assessment in epilepsy patients and healthy participants. It was expected that this project will add valuable information for presurgical management of mesial temporal lobe epilepsy patients with right side foci. The project has been ended half way through its course at the stage of data collection. The data acquired thus far was not sufficient to produce any significant results or conclusions regarding the socio-economic impact of the project.
