Final Report Summary - M-FUTURE2011 (Materials & Manufacturing of the FUTURE)

The work within the M-FUTURE2011 project was carried out within seven work packages with the aim to organise two high-level events related to two pillars of FP7 NMP Theme: Materials and Production. Within the first work package (WP1: Overall management and communication) these events were effectively managed at organisational level leading to the synergy of actions held by Manufuture and Fumat team's through initiating joint actions where possible (for example producing of the common initial information leaflet and common early announcement articles in journals), and avoiding double activities. Activities of the work package assured the exchange of experience between teams in Wroclaw and Warsaw leading to the use of best practices (for example regarding participants' registration, as well as promotion of the events). Also the supervision of coordination of programmes of these two events was in charge of WP1 in order to keep them complementary and with coherent communication to the society. Another important issue covered under WP1 was the communication to authorities supervising the actions: European Commission and Polish government. The progress of preparation was continually reported to both authorities in order to follow hot political and organisational needs (like for example including Turkey into conference programme to cover the aspect of widening participance in EU Framework Programmes).

Within the second work package two general tasks were realised - regarding conference programme preparation as well as communication on programme issues. All of the detailed tasks were realised.

Within the third work package six general tasks were realised, which were devoted to Manufuture 2011 conference overall management, Manufuture 2011 conference web page management & Participant service, Preparation of conference venue, Preparation of industrial visits, Preparation of brokerage meetings as well as Running the conference (Parallel workshops, Brokerage event and Industrial visits).

Within the fourth work package two general tasks were realised - regarding conference programme preparation as well as communication on programme issues.

Within the fifth work package five general tasks were realised, which were devoted to Fumat 2011 conference overall management, Fumat 2011 web page management & Participant service, Preparation of conference venue, Preparation of brokerage meetings as well as Running the conference (Fumat Conference, Parallel workshops, Brokerage event).

Within the sixth work package three general tasks were performed: regarding Promotional materials, preparation of Media campaign as well as NMP for schools action. The first task dealt with promotional materials, while next two were related to two kinds of outreach activities: media campaign addressed to wide public and activities disseminating objectives of the conference among youth, including university and schools students. The work package activity was realised for Fumat 2011 and for Manufuture 2011 conferences separately.

Within the seventh work package two general tasks were realised: one devoted to Manufuture 2011 and Fumat 2011 post analysis with the aim to create post conference proceedings, reports and analysis, the second task was devoted to preparation of Conference Position Paper. Within the task of Conference Position Paper - conferences' position separate papers with the common executive summary were established. All of the work packages and their detailed tasks were successfully realised with relatively minor deviations from regarding the project schedule.
