Knowledge Processing System development

Objective

The improvement of competitiveness of SMEs must be supported by methods and platforms enabling efficient and flexible innovative businesses. Novitech is planning to develop an innovative business process cycle in SMEs called p-BR (process-Business Ring) and based on it the Knowledge Processing System (KPS) with innovative best business practices (BBP).
Behind implementation of all successful ideas stand educated and experienced people. Novitech, with an aim to build up a highly professional team in the field of knowledge management (KM) able to apply research approach and achieved knowledge in concrete solutions, has already trained its employees in different issues of project management or business process management (BPM). To broaden employees' skills in mentioned areas and also to improve general skills such as communication, team leading, presentation or awareness of ethical issues and English knowledge, Novitech submits this proposal for an experienced researcher fellowship. To fulfill Novitech's needs we apply for 3 researchers: more experienced researcher, researcher for KM and researcher for BBP. Through the experienced researcher's guidance including trainings, consultancy, fellowship, supervising and team leading in KM taxonomy and ontology Novitech will be able to establish a team of its own capable researchers, experienced specialists competent to set up an effective knowledge processing system. Thanks to this team of specialists and new understanding in BBP and knowledge processing systems Novitech will be able to offer superior and personalised BPM knowledge for SME's increasing the knowledge base of Slovakia and thus build a new competence centre. It will also improve Novitech's activities and increase the competitiveness of region not just within the Slovak Republic but also the EU. The impact at an international level will be the Novitech's ability to facilitate co-operation among communities, companies and countries by using the p-BR and KPS.
