Compact Silicon Photonics Coherent WDM Transceiver

Objective

It is proposed to demonstrate a Silicon Photonics WDM transceiver with phase encoding and coherent detection at the receiver. Multi-frequency light sources will be realized with nonlinear parametric generation via matched resonators at the transmitter and receiver. In order to realize this, a novel type of ultra-high-Q integrated resonator is proposed.
