Final Activity Report Summary - PREPARE (Priority European Programme in Advanced Regional Economics)
The project PREPARE aimed to prepare European PhD students and young researchers for a scientific career in regional science. This was done through a series of four intensive summer schools and the integration of participants into the European conferences of the regional science association. The program outperformed the expectations of the organisers.
By bringing together top level researchers as lecturers and a selected group of highly qualified and motivated students, PREPARE managed to form a network of European researchers in regional science who cooperate, support each other and have already become recognised as young competent researchers.
