Objective
Trans2Tech is a specific support action (SSA) aimed at fostering trans-national technology transfer throughout Europe by improving the marketing of technologies at both the levels of supply and need. Regarding the first aspect, the project will design and develop a system for evaluating the industrial potential of not only technologies but also projects, teams or organisation issued from the European academic sector; bundles patents according to applications and clusterize intellectual properties with respect to industrial areas and sub-areas; design and develop a electronic portal on purpose of providing manufacturers and capital ventures with an exhaustive and structured view over technological opportunities throughout Europe and connected to other innovation structures, especially, Innovation Relay Centres websites. The second component of the project is dedicated to better identification and even anticipation of industrialists' needs by performing accurate market studies and organising specific marketing actions. The project outcomes are expected to be widely disseminated to intellectual property stakeholders at large all over Europe thanks to the participation of partners of various nationalities and the involvement of three different Innovation Relay Cent res. Trans2Tech targets both high technology industries including small and medium enterprises, start-ups, and large companies, and intermediary groups such as capital risk ventures.
